HIKING: Walking along the beaten trails and that too on top of the mountain ridge is an experience in itself. With a gradual gradient for most of the hike and with an unmatched scenery on both sides of the ridge, soothing of mind and nerves happens naturally. A great de-stresser, we recommend this activity for all our guests. Options are as under:-

• Walk by yourself till Fula-ri-Dhar top (about 2 Kms one way) – unguided.
• Guided walk till a lake (about four Kms one way) with the glimpse of village life – INR 500.

TREKKING & CAMPING: Trekking and camping options with moderate to difficult grades are available on prior bookings and for groups of minimum 06 pax. We provide expert guides, porters and ponies (if route allows latter). The charges will vary between INR 2000 to 3000 per person per day. Camping equipment, food and guidance shall be covered in the package. Choices are as under:-

• Trek to Diana sar.
• Trek to Thamsar pass.
• Trek to Bara Bangal.
• Trek to Bir via Billing.
• Trek to Winch Station.
• Trek to Kullu via Bhubh Jot.

SIGHTSEEING: Vehicle based sightseeing is available for Barot, Bara Gaon (base of Rajgunda), Parashar Lake, Bir, Baijnath and Billing.

WATER CRAFT: Barot valley has few professionals offering water rappelling, river crossing and rock climbing. We can co-ordinate the same on no profit/no loss basis.

PARA GLIDING: A famous take off point, 360 Degree, lies in our area and is about 3 Kms from our location. But due to wind behaviour, para gliding by experts only is allowed here. For amateur flying, we can co-ordinate the same with experienced professionals based out of Bir.

ASTRO WATCH: We are in exclusive partnership with the premier astro company, Scicomm ( https://scicomm.in/astrocamping/) for conduct of astro camps at our location. Guests can enjoy guided star gazing through our astronomical telescopes or just with their naked eyes. The terrain and geography of our location has been rated as 8 out of 10 for astro-activities like star gazing, galaxy watch, astro photography and so on. Such tours, however, are organised during major astronomical events happening in the sky above us. Pl visit their website for updates.

AIR RIFLE/PISTOL SHOOTING: We organise these activities in-house. Prior intimation, however, is a must.

BOOKS: You shall have many to choose from.

BIRD WATCHING: A total of 106 varieties of birds have been identified around our area. Those who have an eye and have love for cherubs, shall have an unforgettable experience.

FLORA: Dense Deodhar and Bann forests surround us. Wild orchids grow in plenty during rains. Famour Pahari potatoes grow all around us.
